Republic day..could have been better

It has been 62 years now after India got its independence. When i look back what had happened in the late 1940's , I sometimes wonder could India be different than what it is today. After thinking over and over again, i truly salute Mahatma gandhi for his struggle for freedom, he has definitely worked really hard to save us from the hands of the britishers. Then when i look back at history i wonder what had happened just before India got independence i.e before 15th august ,1947.
If Muhhamad ali jinnah had not demanded a separate pakistan, things would have been different. Was , there a need for a separate pakistan?..no i dont think so. It was jinnah's urge to get the power in his hand's which made a country by name "Pakistan" and nothing else.
I am a hindu, most of my friends are muslims, i dont make friends depending on the cast they belong to.I think first we are human beings. We still have people from muslim community in india, we live in India like brothers and sisters.
Had the option of separate pakistan was ruled out at that point of time, INDIA would have been a huge superpower ---INDIA still is, but combined with the current paskistan's population and the geographical area, the whole economy combined would have been a great pride for our freedom fighters.
Many people were killed during the partition. i strongly feel bad for them.I would like to conclude that, becuase of this partition nobody at the top level lost anything, it was a common man who lost, and is still loosing due to lack of opportunities,terrorism..etc....If partition had not happened we would have been celebrating a better republic day.........

azhar..aaha

Well one of the most successful indian captain Mohammad azharuddin is ready to join politics. Three days back AZHAR met aicc president of andhra MR.veerapa.This would be a great boost to the congress party in Andhra pradesh. Azhar could have contested through MIM, but he choose congress over MIM..very smart i would say, with so many big names joining politics this year from andhra..something big is gonna happen whoever be the ruling party be....i think "sourav ganguly" (DADA) should also take lead from azhar and join politics from kolkata..........these people have done well throughout their lives and have served India..why not continue doing it by joining politics....cheers...

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE....makes me cry

I was amazed to see the movie "SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE", the screenplay of the movie makes me wonder the kind of research which has gone into the making of the film pre- and post-production. I am shocked, how can a foreigner (Danny Boyle) just look into India so deeply...i have been in India for 23 years now, we certainly have seen slums here or we see, but never even think of what's happening inside them.We are so busy with our lives that we don't at all care about what's happening around.Suddenly a foreigner like Danny Boyle comes in and makes a miraculous movie like slum dog....Looking at the other side of it, the movie though has bagged 13 Oscar nominations and got 4 golden globe awards, it reflects very dark side of India which should not have been exposed to the global arena...for example a young British boy or girl who has never been to India watches this movie..what's the impact on their mind, they think "THIS IS INDIA"...which is not at all true....the kind of message or the perception which the movie sets is not the true image of India

I, a proud INDIAN who is happy for the Indian film fraternity as some of the actors and musician's in movie got global recognition, on the other side the movie makes me cry and i wonder....DAT it sends a wrong message for a great country like INDIA.....

INDIAN RAILWAYS...

Indian Railways claim to be one of the most successful services which Indian government has...though the facilities in Railways are good for people travelling in first class....they are pathetic in general compartments....people in general compartments are treated like animals but not like human beings...with so many people below the poverty line in india its ridiculous to provide such disgusting services for the majority of the people..recently i was on a trip to goa with my friends.Due to non availability of tickets in the sleeper class, i had to travel through general ticket..let me tell you, it was the most horrible experience which a human being can go through. There were about 200 people and only 45 seats available to sit..just imagine how pathetic the condition was...the train name was "YASHWANTHPUR EXPRESS".....people were so irritated that they were just not crying with anger.......there was not enough space to put your ass on the floor for a person..everyone was falling on one another..hence i request the honourable railways minister......to improve the services for the lower class people and just see how your vote bank gets filled with votes......what if ....i come from a poor family and want to travel through train with my mom and sister...just imagine how bad the condition would be with so many people falling on each other...politicians in India fail to recognize the need of the common man...once they do that...then there is no looking back.............

DEEPIKA PADUKONE

I know that oso was a great movie. It earned a lot of profits. Deepika padukone is a well known name in the industry now, but what is she doing, she is the newspapers these days and is seen at sydney with a famous cricketer.Publicity in India has taken a 360 degree circle now.Earlier the media was looking for some masala news, link ups and relationships..now the bollywood stars themselves are involving in the cheap publicity just to stay in the industry..one of the recent prominent examples is DEEPIKA PADUKONE dating an indian cricketer......a few days earlier same tactics were employed by a well known actress kareena kapoor, when she showed up with saif........well i think deepika and kareena are very good actresses and they dont need such kind of publicity..hence i quote"GET FAMOUS BY THE WORK YOU DO, NOT BY CHEAP PUBLICITY"

privatisation in india-TATA POWER

With India making its mark on the global economy, it is high time that the indian government realize that privatisation is just eating india to the core. Just saw the news today which flashed on the different media channels regarding the arrest of farmers for the establishment of TATA POWER. Its disgusting to know that in a democracy like INDIA the common man has just become the dust of the feet of different big player's like tata, reliance etc. HOW can the government just allot the land of the poor farmers for the TATA POWER. What if, i was a farmer who worked day and night for the past 15-20 years without having food, slogging hard in the sunlight, just to have a better living for my family...what if after 20 years of hard work i realize that the land which i thought was my mother is going to be taken away  from me just because i dont have enough money to fill the pockets of the government officers...is money everything????? is there no value of human rights.......i am expecting a lot of views and comments regarding this issue from people..plz do leave ur opinions...
